Set in New York City during the Christmas holidays, Dash rummages through his favorite bookstore and comes upon a moleskin notebook tucked into his favorite section. Inside is a dare that, should he rise to the challenge, will set off a series of scavenger hunts throughout the city that culminates with him meeting fellow New Yorker Lily.
