Thursday Matinee: Sarah's Oil

About the Event

In the early 1900s, young Sarah Rector believes there's oil beneath the barren land she's allotted in Indian Territory. As greedy sharks close in, Sarah turns to family, friends, and some Texas wildcatters to maintain control of her oil-rich land, eventually becoming one of the first female African American millionaires. Meet new friends and join us for a movie, popcorn, and bottled water care of the Friends of the Chatsworth Library.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event.
