About the Event
Learn basic papermaking techniques utilizing recycled paper materials found around the home, such as junk mail, old homework, newspapers, or a variety of almost any kind of paper. Sophia will discuss the materials and basic equipment and demonstrate, step by step, how to create pulp and use a screen to make handmade paper.
Sophia Allison is a visual artist whose work spans drawing, papermaking, sculpture, and the occasional installation.
