Nina Figueroa will be offering face painting in the Youth Area, while we screen The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993, PG) in the Community Room. Feel free to come in costume! Please note that face painting is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we will do our best to accommodate as many children as possible.
Haunted Library (A Poem) by Librarian Elaine
Greetings, friends, now gather 'round
Watch Jack and Sally in Halloween Town!
If it's candy you seek, approach the desk
Boo! Authors' floating ghosts roam the stacks
Howl! Come in costume, now don't be late--
And you'll transform with a painted face!
For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event. The City will make every effort to accommodate requests received with less notice.
