LA Made: What is Digital Preservation 101 (T.A.P.E. Collective)
About the Event
A friendly foray into the world of open-access tools available to anyone with a computer and a desire to preserve digital media with future-forward practices in mind.
An all-level introduction to concepts like file formats, storage devices, archival practices, and more! Includes a very basic Introduction to command-line level computing and scripts specifically for working with audiovisual materials.

Note: Bringing a laptop (Mac or Windows) is recommended, but not required to participate.
